Part three of our top tips for a perfect wedding in Mallorca

Our guide is written for you by our expert wedding and catering team, gleaned from decades of accumulated knowledge and experience.

  • Manage your months.

Many people correctly think that the busiest months in Mallorca are July and August – however that is not true on the wedding scene. Due to the heat of the most popular months, May, June, September and October are seen as more suitable for nuptials and they are easier on the budget.

  • Let them eat lunch!

Unlike the UK, Mallorca hosts most weddings later in the day, mainly due to the heat, but in our experience a 4/5pm guest arrival time is perfect. It allows guests the time to have lunch and then get ready in a relaxed way before your wedding celebration begins.

  • Sun cream or sunshade?

Make it your responsibility to know where the sun will be shining for each aspect of your wedding timeline. You may need to provide sun cream, sunshades, or personal umbrellas for the ladies and boaters for the men. Alternatively try to plan your day around the shade to protect your guests from those famous Balearic sunbeams.

  • Book a mini-moon in Mallorca.

The lead up and stress of the build-up to the wedding day, plus entertaining all of the guests who have travelled just for your big day will be hectic, so book a few days to yourself after the big day – to recover away from the main mayhem.
