Over the last 10 years, Delicioso has grown into a successful and well respected Catering and Yacht & Villa Provisioning business in the Balearics.

As Yacht Provisioners we supply the largest and most famous superyachts in the world, with our team appreciating the need to source the best items for their guests, even with the most challenging logistics to negotiate. We also provide an excellent value crew food service all year round.

Delicioso´s Catering Division has grown extensively, serving an extensive range of menus for all types of events. Working across a huge array of different venues including historic fincas, private villas, beautiful beaches and on board superyachts.

Meet the team

Helen Richards

Helen set up Delicioso in 2008 having used her marketing background to spot an opportunity for a new business to supply the growing superyacht industry and offer a new and different catering solution in Mallorca.

Armed with a Psychology Degree, her marketing career began in London at Ogilvy & Mather and over the next 15 years she worked at top creative agencies for blue chip brands such as BT, American Express and Marks & Spencer. Her last 8 years in marketing were spent working on Land Rover where as Board Account Director she was in charge of both the UK and Global Accounts.

Her business experience allowed her to set up, grow and develop Delicioso into one of the leading Yacht Provisioning and Catering companies in Mallorca.

Having built an amazing team of people around her, she now focuses on Sales and Marketing for Delicioso and Yacht Provisioning Development.

Gareth Hill

Gareth has over 25 years experience within the catering business and has a passion for quality food and customer service.

In the UK, Gareth set up and ran his own successful events company, G&D Events, working for many clients including Hello Magazine, Monsoon, Leo Burnett. He has organized many different styles of events, including product launches, corporate entertaining and staff Christmas Parties for guests from 150 – 2000 people.

Prior to that Gareth has worked for, managed and opened several prestigious restaurants and bars such as,

  • Nobu Park Lane
  • Oliver Peyton Restaurant Group
  • Criterion Marco Pierre White 1 Michelin star
  • The Oak Room Marco Pierre White 3 Michelin stars

Having worked as a consultant with Delicioso, he has now become a full partner at Delicioso leading the Catering Division and managing Delicioso´s Operations and Logistics.

Steven Cowtan
Executive Head Chef

Steven is a highly qualified Restaurant and Events Chef. His passion for cooking began at the renowned Bear Hotel in Oxfordshire. Over the next 6 years he worked in various restaurants including Browns Restaurant and The Duke of Marlborough as Head Chef.

Steven then moved to Clinkards Catering Company as Operations Manager / Executive Chef, catering for all types and sizes of events from 20 people to 1,500 all over the UK. This included Oxford College Balls, Corporate Days and many events at Stately Homes including society weddings.

Steven joined Delicioso as their Head Chef to get back to his love of catering for events of all shapes and sizes.

Sam Pope
Catering Coordinator

Sam enjoyed an 18 year career in the cosmetics industry becoming the National Education Manager for Origins Cosmetics, where she organised many different training events, ranging from small and intimate to large, multi-day, national conferences.

Sam has managed bars and restaurants in Mallorca and with her organisational skills and professional client focused approach, she has built a great reputation for her dependability and attention to detail when it comes to ensuring fabulous events.

Sam joined Delicioso 4 years ago to ensure all of our events are organised, and run, seamlessly, professionally and with great service.

Rich Greaves
Sales Manager

Having worked at Jackson’s Supermarket inEast Yorkshire, becoming Store Manager, he decided to leave the UK for a life in the South of France. He was the owner of La Gaffe Bar & Restaurant, meeting many yachties over the years passing through Antibes. Having moved to the warmer shores of Mallorca, he has become our Sales Manager and is responsible for meeting all our existing Yacht Provisioning Clients and introducing our increased provisioning services to new yachts too.

Andreia Carvalho
Office Manager

With both a Hospitality degree and an Events Management qualification under her belt, Andreia also has a strong background of experience in various roles within the hospitality industry. She has worked for prestigious locations such as Heston Blumenthal’s 2 Michelin Star restaurant in London, and speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently.

With a huge passion for good food and wine, she is our newest addition to the team and is very much looking forward to bringing her knowledge and experience to her new role of managing all Yacht and Villa Provisioning Orders.
