HELEN RICHARDS

Helen Richards is the Founder and Owner of Delicioso. As a busy MD, her role is extremely varied, encompassing the overall management and creative direction of the business, and in particular the sales and marketing. Since opening Delicioso in 2008, like many business owners Helen has had to jump many hurdles, but she thrives on the challenge of owning her business and the rewards and job satisfaction keep her smiling. Helen says she is very fortunate to have the finest staff team on board and she is excited about everything 2023 has to offer.

Helen’s words of wisdom to anyone visiting the island would be to “Experience every corner, which is different and not to be missed. And finally, if you are thinking of getting married on this beautiful island, please do come and speak to us. We are super friendly, flexible and experienced and can help you create the perfect event or wedding.”

FRANCISCO CARRASCO MUT

As Head Chef at Delicioso, it is Francisco’s responsibility to supervise all of the food which is sent out to Yachts and Crews, Villas, Weddings and Special Events. Since joining the team in 2022, Xisco has become an integral part of the Delicioso family, not only cooking and organising the food for events, he also designs menus, makes orders and of course keeps an eye on cost control.

A native of the island, Xisco speaks Castellano, Catalan and English; he will tell you there is nowhere like Mallorca in the world (and we quite agree!) As a child, Xisco set his sights on becoming a Ship’s Captain, or maybe even racing yachts competitively, but then he discovered cooking and he knew at once that he had found his true vocation. Xisco is passionate about Mallorcan and Asian cuisine, but insists that all food is good if prepared with love.

Xisco is always immensely proud of the food created at Delicioso and he derives job satisfaction from every successful event. Happy smiling clients are what makes him feel proud and all the hard work worthwhile.

Xisco’s advice to anyone planning to get married in Mallorca … “You have chosen one of the most wonderful places in the world…. So, use a professional company like Delicioso, let us take care of things and then you can relax and enjoy.”

MARIE LEMENAGER

Marie Lemenager is the Office Manager for Delicioso. She is responsible for overseeing the yacht provisioning side of the business for both interior and galley and she regularly interfaces between the Chefs and Chief Stews. Marie takes great care of the orders from the moment they are received right through to delivery dockside.

Trilingual (English, Spanish and French) Marie adores food and loves eating French, Spanish, Italian and Asian cuisine. Her love of food, coupled with her passion for people makes this her perfect job… “sourcing ingredients to keep the Chefs happy is never a chore”.

Michele Piselli

We would like to introduce you to Michele Piselli who has now joined us to cover the maternity leave of our lovely Marie.

Michele joined Delicioso in January 2024, and is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese which really enhances the multilingualism of our team! Passionate about both culinary arts and the yachting world, Michele has amassed years of experience in this dynamic field in the Balearics. He finds great satisfaction in providing top-notch service, allowing visitors to the island to fully immerse themselves without worrying about food, drinks, or provisioning.

Michele’s role means he specialises in catering to the unique needs of yachts and villas, managing everything from crew food, provisioning for chefs and interior crew, and stocking up to handling yacht charter orders. With a sharp focus on both yachts and private villas, Michele is there to ensure seamless provisioning, daily food delivery and catering for small scale events. Michele oversees the office organisation which guarantees smooth operations and as the primary point of contact for most enquiries, Michele can provide a prompt and efficient service.

Now residing in Mallorca, Michele appreciates the island’s year-round activities, particularly enjoying trekking in the breathtaking Sierra de Tramuntana and exploring secluded calas.

For visitors to Mallorca, Michele recommends exploring Sierra de Tramuntana, taking a stroll in Sa Calobra torrent de Pareis, and dining at Es Guix Restaurant. His tip: arrive a little early for reservations to bask in the stunning turquoise lagoon, evoking a true island paradise experience.

RICHARD GREAVES

Richard Greaves is Delicioso’s Driver and right hand man and for the last 6 years he has been delivering Provisions, Orders and Crew food to yachts on the island. The uniqueness of the yachting industry and knowing to expect the unexpected is what makes his day interesting and fun. Driving around scenic Mallorca for a living is also a big bonus.

As you would imagine, Richard knows Mallorca like the back of his hand and his advice to intrepid visitors would be to hire a car and travel around. You will be surprised how beautiful it is. He also believes Mallorca is the perfect place to get married and so if you are deliberating, his advice would be to “Just Do It! Whatever you are looking for, we have everything here”.
