As a busy business owner and active MD, her role is extremely varied, encompassing the overall management and creative direction of the business, and in particular the sales and marketing for all business areas, having had an extensive career in marketing in London. Since opening Delicioso in 2008, like many business owners Helen has had to jump many hurdles, but she thrives on the challenge of developing her own business.
Evolving the business areas of Delicioso over the years to an ever changing market place gives her enormous job satisfaction.
Building the finest team to help her service such a wide range of clients - Wedding & Catering Clients, Superyachts & Villa Owners, is the one thing she is the most proud of. Without my team I would not be able to offer such an excellent service to such a broad range of clients and I am very proud of them. Helen is excited about what is to come for Delicioso as it continues to evolve & grow.
Helen’s words of wisdom to anyone visiting Mallorca would be to “Experience every corner of this beautiful island. Do not miss the different areas and hidden gems. Isabelle joined Delicioso in 2018 as Operations Manager, but her busy role also covers the finance division. An accomplished linguist, Isabelle can speak to our clients in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German or even Serbian. Isabelle loves the responsibility she has been entrusted with and this enthusiasm and passion has filtered through the entire team and together they make things happen.
Isabelle’s childhood dream was either to become President of her native France, or maybe an Army Flight Instructor. At 22 years old Isabelle decided that International Hotel Management was to be her future and she didn’t look back. Her breadth of experience means she is a vital and valuable member of the Delicioso team.
As Head Chef at Delicioso, it is Francisco’s responsibility to supervise all of the food which is sent out to Yachts and Crews, Villas, Weddings and Special Events. Since joining the team in 2022, Xisco has become an integral part of the Delicioso family, not only cooking and organising the food for events, he also designs menus, makes orders and of course keeps an eye on cost control.
A native of the island, Xisco speaks Castellano, Catalan and English; he will tell you there is nowhere like Mallorca in the world (and we quite agree!) As a child, Xisco set his sights on becoming a Ship’s Captain, or maybe even racing yachts competitively, but then he discovered cooking and he knew at once that he had found his true vocation. Xisco is passionate about Mallorcan and Asian cuisine, but insists that all food is good if prepared with love.
Xisco is always immensely proud of the food created at Delicioso and he derives job satisfaction from every successful event. Happy smiling clients are what makes him feel proud and all the hard work worthwhile. Our Head Chef takes pride in his heritage and always prioritises local produce to maintain the authenticity and quality of every dish he creates.
Xisco’s advice to anyone planning to get married in Mallorca … “You have chosen one of the most wonderful places in the world…. So, use a professional company like Delicioso, let us take care of things and then you can relax and enjoy.”
Marie Lemenager is the Office Manager for Delicioso. She is responsible for overseeing the yacht provisioning side of the business for both interior and galley and she regularly interfaces between the Chefs and Chief Stews. Marie takes great care of the orders from the moment they are received right through to delivery dockside.
Trilingual (English, Spanish and French) Marie adores food and loves eating French, Spanish, Italian and Asian cuisine. Her love of food, coupled with her passion for people makes this her perfect job… “sourcing ingredients to keep the Chefs happy is never a chore”.
Richard Greaves is Delicioso’s Driver and right hand man and for the last 6 years he has been delivering Provisions, Orders and Crew food to yachts on the island. The uniqueness of the yachting industry and knowing to expect the unexpected is what makes his day interesting and fun. Driving around scenic Mallorca for a living is also a big bonus.
As you would imagine, Richard knows Mallorca like the back of his hand and his advice to intrepid visitors would be to hire a car and travel around. You will be surprised how beautiful it is. He also believes Mallorca is the perfect place to get married and so if you are deliberating, his advice would be to “Just Do It! Whatever you are looking for, we have everything here”.
Barbora is the first point of contact for our clients and partners, ensuring a smooth customer relationship for weddings and any other events.
It is Barbora’s passion to ensure that our clients receive the best possible service and an experience tailored to them. Barbora works with our wedding venue partners and loves helping our clients to choose the perfect setting for their event. Her core values are kindness, integrity, and equality and she loves working with like-minded people.
Mica, the Events Manager at Delicioso Catering, has over 10 years of experience in the industry, organizing events in Buenos Aires, Uruguay, and Mallorca. Her background as a chief stewardess on superyachts has given her a sharp eye for detail and a passion for seamless service.
Known for her professionalism and dynamic leadership, Mica ensures every event is executed flawlessly, creating unforgettable experiences for her clients.
