Ellie and Jamie's Son Burguet wedding brought together courtyard dining, Mediterranean sharing dishes and music across different parts of the evening. Their catering plan gives couples considering a finca wedding in Mallorca a detailed example of how the menu and the set-up work together.
Delicioso's arrangements included welcome refreshments, canapés, grilled dishes with sharing sides, dessert, late-night food and bars serving both the dinner and party spaces.
The ceremony was arranged by the pool, with Delicioso's reception service planned for the grass area afterwards.
For dinner, eight rectangular tables were arranged to create an imperial table layout, dressed with white linen and brown cross-back chairs. Free seating was part of the plan, making clear communication about dietary meals particularly important.
A White Hot Wedding handled flowers and decoration. Son Burguet supplied lighting. Delicioso's equipment arrangements included dining furniture, glassware, bistro tables and separate bar positions for the courtyard and party room.
The canapé menu included teriyaki chicken skewers, duck pancakes with plum sauce, smoked cheese croquettes, salmon blinis with cream cheese and wasabi, mozzarella skewers and potato cubes with hummus.
Dinner paired thyme-and-garlic Galician rib-eye steak with king prawn and salmon skewers, plus Portobello mushrooms stuffed with feta, tomato and oregano.
Sweet potato wedges with truffle and Parmesan, Mediterranean couscous tabbouleh and roasted vegetables with pesto and Parmesan were selected as sharing sides. Bread, alioli and olives accompanied the food.
Dessert was a mango and passion-fruit glass with cantuccini. The couple arranged their own ensaïmada, while Delicioso's late-night snack was Mallorcan coca de trampó.
Welcome water and lemonade were followed by Aperol Spritz and a reception bar offering wine, cava, beer and soft drinks. The catering plan included coffee and tea, an evening spirits bar and additional service hours.
For approximately 50 adults, €10,000–€15,000 can be used as a broad illustrative full-service catering allowance at the early planning stage. This is not Ellie and Jamie's actual budget or a Delicioso price. Extended service, equipment upgrades, venue requirements and VAT must be checked in the quotation.
Planning your wedding in Mallorca for 2027 or 2028?
Contact Delicioso to discuss English-speaking catering, a Mediterranean sharing menu, BBQ-style dishes or Tapas & Paella, with a proposal based on your date, venue and guests.
Several dishes are placed on the table for guests to share. Your layout needs enough space for platters, tableware and decoration, which makes the seating plan part of the catering conversation.
Discuss suitable individual dishes and substitutions during planning. Ellie and Jamie's form listed vegetarian and vegan guests, but their final dietary menus need confirming before publishing those details.
Allow space for shared dishes, glassware and flowers, as well as comfortable seating and access for service. Ellie and Jamie’s plan used rectangular tables in an imperial layout, with white linen and cross-back chairs.
Late-night food can be discussed as part of your catering proposal. Ellie and Jamie’s plan included coca de trampó at midnight. Agree the dish, guest numbers, dietary options and service time in advance.
Guest numbers, the menu, hire requirements and the length of drinks service affect the total. Separate reception and party spaces may also require additional bar arrangements. Request a proposal showing the inclusions and VAT.
