A Mediterranean BBQ Wedding at Ses Voltes: Jamie-Lee and Bradley

Jamie-Lee and Bradley's wedding at Ses Voltes combined an outdoor drinks reception, two long dinner tables and an evening party indoors. Their Mediterranean menu centred on grilled meat and seafood, with sharing sides and a late-night Mallorcan snack.

For couples considering BBQ wedding catering in Mallorca, this is a useful example of a relaxed food style.

A wedding set-up that moved with the celebration

The arrangements began with water and lemonade for arriving guests, followed by a canapé reception in front of the house. Six bistro tables gave the reception its own layout, before guests moved to two long tables for dinner.

Wooden cross-back chairs, glassware and dining tables appeared in Delicioso's equipment arrangements, alongside additional bar modules for the party room. Floristeria de Petra was the florist, while the venue provided lighting. Veronica acted as the on-the-day event planner. Bruno was the guitarist for the drinks reception and Rafa as DJ.

Canapés, grilled dishes and sharing sides

The six canapés included teriyaki chicken skewers, truffled croquettes, crispy prawns with mango dip, mozzarella with tomato and basil, beef fillet carpaccio and octopus.

For dinner, prime Galician rib-eye steak, Cajun chicken breast and tiger prawns were accompanied by Greek salad, spicy potato salad and Milanese rice. Bread, alioli and green olives completed the table.

The dietary menu offered stuffed Portobello mushrooms with vegan feta, chargrilled halloumi with hummus and seasonal vegetable skewers.

Lotus Biscoff cheesecake was the dessert, with coca de trampó for the late-night snack.

Drinks and the evening party

Hugo Spritz was served at the reception, alongside wine, cava, beer and soft drinks. A cava tower was arranged for the transition towards the party, with evening bar service continuing indoors.

Delicioso's role brought together the food, drinks and catering equipment needed across the different stages of the day.

What budget should you allow for a Mallorca BBQ wedding?

For early planning, around €18,000–€27,000 is an illustrative catering allowance for approximately 90 adults when considering dinner, drinks, staffing and equipment together. It is not this couple's actual spend or a Delicioso price. Service length, bar choices, hire requirements and VAT need confirming in your own proposal.

Planning a Mallorca wedding for 2027 or 2028? Contact Delicioso with your guest numbers, venue and preferred menu to discuss English-speaking wedding catering and a clear budget.

Is a BBQ wedding just a buffet?

Ask how your menu will be served. This wedding's plan combined grilled proteins with a Mediterranean sharing format, rather than treating “BBQ” as a complete description of the service.

Can paella work for another wedding event?

Ask Delicioso about its Tapas & Paella options for your wedding or a separate gathering. Price and logistics depend on the event you want to create.

What food can a Mallorca BBQ wedding menu include?

Jamie-Lee and Bradley selected rib-eye steak, Cajun chicken and tiger prawns, with Greek salad, spicy potato salad and Milanese rice. Use their menu as inspiration, then discuss the dishes available for your own date.

Does wedding catering include drinks and furniture?

It depends on the agreed package. This wedding plan included drinks and catering equipment arrangements. Ask for an itemised proposal covering food, bar service, staff, tables, chairs, tableware and any additional hire.

How can we compare wedding catering budgets?

Compare the complete service: menu, guest numbers, drinks duration, staffing, equipment, transport, set-up and clear-down. Confirm VAT and exclusions so you can compare proposals on the same basis.
